Héctor is a first-year medical student at Rey Juan Carlos University in Spain. He has developed a strong calling for medicine and scientific research, with a particular interest in neuropsychopharmacology, neurodegenerative diseases, and their treatments. His goal is to become a physician-scientist, complete his training and practice in Spain, and subsequently contribute to medical practice in Puerto Rico. He aspires to generate knowledge that helps improve the diagnosis and treatment of these conditions, bridging the gap between research and clinical practice to make a significant impact on patients’ health and quality of life.
