Identifying Modifiable Early-Life Risk Factos for Childhood Atopic Dermatitis: The Role of Antibiotic Exposure
Sofía is a student at the Universidad Central del Caribe who has developed a strong interest in dermatological research and health equity, focusing on the prevention and early detection of inflammatory skin diseases. She is currently conducting a research year at the University of Pennsylvania under the mentorship of Dr. Zelma Chiesa Fuxench, strengthening her skills in research and scientific analysis. She aims to apply this knowledge in Puerto Rico to promote prevention, improve access to dermatological care, and reduce health disparities.
